Runes
Frost- Chilled reduces Dodge, Spell Dodge and Haste. Extra extra damage vs. Flame Creatures.
Fire- fire Damage Over Time (Burn) for Bosses (Dungeon & Raid) that Stun character and are vulnerable to fire.
Spirit- decrease defense for all Bosses.

Runes If using as much Silver Coin as needed and time sensitive (Raid, Incursion Portal, Onslaught).
Frost- Chilled reduces Dodge & Spell Dodge.
Fire- Burn even when not pushing button.
Spirit- increases damage from Bleed.

Runes Pairs vs. Onslaught Boss (Runes have 3 second cool down)
Frost + Spirit- reduce Dodge & Spell Dodge then increase damage from Bleed
Fire + Spirit- Burn then increased damage from Burn.
Major Spirit + Minor Spirit- decrease defenses and 2 second over lap where defense decreased 55% (35% + 20%).
v1.5 Fire Runes stack so Major Fire + Major Fire & Minor Fire + Minor Fire work. Still researching Major Fire + Minor Fire.


Brutal Strike rank 3 (recommended rank 1-3)
Cleave rank 3 (recommended rank 3)
Wound rank 1 (recommended rank 1, rank 2- 3 not faster casting time, only +1 stack per hit, same 75% damage per stack, same stack duration)
Weapon Focus p0 (recommended rank p0- 3 until Level 16+, replace with Frenzy p1- 3

Stunning Blow rank 1 (recommended rank 1, rank 2- 3 no improvement in casting speed, but longer cool down. Instead invest points in Backswing, fixed Rend, Overkill, Vengence)
Radiant Light rank 3 (recommended rank 3)
Rend rank p1 (recommended rank p1, see v1.5.1 Bleed Bug, once fixed recommended rank p1- 3)

I run Zeetha with both 2H and 1H weapons.

For a Hybrid Justicar (equal Magic & Melee Gems) using only 2H weapons, just swap Stagger rank p3 for Brutality rank p3.

Depending on your might, you can drop Overkill rank p3.

Note 1AA) When you unlock Tier 4 abilities, I recommend Frenzy rank p1-3 instead of Weapon Focus rank p1-3. Both effect Melee, but Weapon Focus affects Melee Rating so the more points you have in Melee Gems & Melee Tomes the less effective. Frenzy rank p1-3 requires the Monster have a Bleed Stack, but adds to actual damage.

Note 2AA) If you Might Rating is high enough to kill all 3 Mobs with 1-3 regular Hit, you can skip Overkill rank p1-3. If you need 4+ regular hits, you might consider Overkill.
Overkill works best against Triple Groups with a Wraith or Magic User. Killing the low Health Wraith or Magic User with an attack or Bleed Stack, procs Overkill for use against the Goblin Marauders or Tanks.

Note to Bj:
Check if Overkill procs during Phase 3 of The Shadow Comes (or any Onslaught Phase)

Note 3AA) Seismic Slash is more attractive if running Elixir of Speed (Haste 25%) + Haste Potions (Haste 15%). Knockback is weak compared to Justicar Attack Speed (especially with 2H Axe 1.4 Speed). Can be dodged.

Note 4AA) Research Note (you can skip this): Unlike previous version of Heroic Will, v1.5 does not affect Minor Break Runes, Minor Purge Runes, Group Attack/ Major Runes, or Temple Potions. Heroic Will has no affect on Crafted Potions.

Note 5AA) Buffs carry over in Onslaught. Since Magic Attacks/ Magic Debuffs cannot be avoided, a fast Triple Mob using magic attacks/ magic debuffs can Surprise your character and immediately put 3 Stacks of Vengeance on your character (12.5% chance with Vengeance rank p3). Vengeance also works with Triple Wraiths when they cast Shriek, especially in Onslaught Crypt of Corruption. You can clear the Slow Debuff with a Cleanse Potion but keep the Vengeance Stack 3 for the remainder of the 6 second Onslaught Timer.

1BB) 2H Axe 1.4 Speed does a lot of damage but is slow. Justicar has many Melee attacks. Frost Runes cause chilled which slows opponents & reduces their Dodge.
