Server Maintenance - October 27th, 2016

Heroes!

There will be a server maintenance period on October 27th at 9am EDT / 1pm GMT (13:00 server time)

We anticipate a downtime of approximately 30 minutes to deploy a DLC update to the game.

This update will add the Halloween event items and assets along with adjustments to enemy levels and might requirements in raids.

The Halloween event will begin a few hours later at 11am EDT / 3pm GMT (15:00 server time)

We thank you for your patience during this maintenance period.

Patch Notes:
  • Reduced the enemy levels in the following raids:
    • Hunted in the Mist by 4 levels.
    • Legacy of Blades by 3 levels.
    • Crystallized Vengeance by 2 levels.
    • Primal Mysteries by 2 levels.
    • Spider Queen by 2 levels.
    • The Shadow Returns by 2 levels.
  • Reduced the might requirement in the following raids:
    • Vale of the Ice Dragon from 3,950 to 3,752.
    • Knight War of Fellmarsh from 4,900 to 4,655.
    • Horde of the Goblin King from 6,850 to 6,507.
    • Battle of the Vile Gate from 9,000 to 8,550.
    • Karnak's Final Stand from 11,500 to 10,350.
    • Hunted in the Mists from 15,250 to 12,200.
    • Legacy of Blades from 16,250 to 14,625.
    • Crystallized Vengeance from 19,400 to 17,460.
    • Primal Mysteries from 36,200 to 23,530.
    • Rise of the Spider Queen from 39,200 to 31,360
    • The Shadow Returns from 41,200 to 37,080.
  • Adjusted some enemy defenses and resistances in Vile Realm Raids.
  • Fixed an issue where Keepers would instantly die upon spawning.
  • Known Bug: Spider Queen and Shadow Return quests might requirements are still the old might values.

Please note that there is still a minimum level of 30 every enemy that was scaled down in those raids.

Good to know only Knights are now involved in WoF. Should make it easier for the rest of us. ;)

Which defences and resistances were adjusted? Physical resists are still high in the top two raids.

Also, with levels being 2 lower in the VR, does this mean top level is now 38 for enemies since our top level is 40? Do you think this is an acceptable balance between enemy and player toon level?

I think the top two raids will be fine at level 38, challenging yet not ridiculous.

I think lob and pm need the most adjustment specifically phase 2 pm and phase 2,3,and 4 in lob. A 50k toon should be able to dominate lob and shouldn't have to hit keepers 12-14 times in phase 2 of pm.

Just my 2 cents.
