Out of sync didn't get my essence

I was raiding lob earlier today and I was leaving P2 to enter P3 and when I left P2 it said "server out of sync" I saw on my drops pure essence I entered the raid with 80 pures and when the raid ended I still had 80.

So, if you decide sync you lose all your drops?

Happens all the time. In the last event twice I quaffed a luck elixir then got out of sync and when I got back in the elixir had gone but no luck running It's not rocket science to sort this out but I won't hold my breath
