It would be a nice challenge to have a friendly competition between guilds but instead of separate raids, I suggest it be a cooperative competition in the same raid! What I am suggesting is that GM or officer of one guild issue a challenge to another guild for, say, KFS. Then the other guild's GM/officers have 5 minutes to accept or reject.
When the challenge is accepted, both guilds get the raid notice and can enter when it starts. No mercs would be allowed for this competition. The raid proceeds as normal but the RPP from each guild is tallied on a scorecard that everyone can see.
The guild with the highest RPP at the end gets a better prize and the individual players get rewards based on their own RPP. So, maybe the winners get 1.5x valor for their efforts instead of 1.0x for the second winners. (We're all winners, kids!)
