I would love to see the ability to define one or two "player defined" buttons. I find that I always start a fight with the same 3 or 4 actions. It would be great to be able to define a button to do the "combo" for me. Maybe with an option to "abort if health goes below X%". While a character time savings for the combo would be cool; it's not critical (and adds more issues of balance).
