Update 2.0.0 - December 16, 2013

There will be a server maintenance on Tuesday, December 17th at 11 AM EST/4 PM GMT. Maintenance is expected to last up to 4 hours and will be used to deploy game update 2.0.0!

General
  • The level cap has been raised to level 32
  • The Vile Realm is now open for level 30 players who have completed the Vile Gate series of quests
  • A quest tracker has been added to the game. Players can now view their quest progress against multiple quests in real time on the combat screen
  • Knockback is now modified by weapon speed
  • Champion's Valor has been added to the game
  • New card effects have been added to the game for fire, ice, poison, and several other status effects!
  • New effects have been added to the world map
  • There is a now a limit on the number of Venan IDs that can be registered from a single device within a specified period of time
  • Individual item sales. Keep checking the shop for special limited time sales!
  • Various combat backgrounds have been improved
  • Players can now view other characters' gear, gems, etc. via inspection
  • The layout for monster cards has been refactored to be more consistent with the PVP player cards
  • Players can now buy 1 Gold Shield worth of Energy
  • New game tips have been added
  • Enchantment levels 7-9 have been added to the game
  • The price to transfer enchants off of gear onto a transfer plate has been reduced by 50%
  • The UI has been updated to display knockback in a new way. A purple bar with the amount of knockback applied will be displayed that shrinks until the knockback effect has ended
  • The cost of unlocking an additional player spec has been lowered to 90 Gold Shields
  • In general, unless specifically stated, any ability that modifies outgoing damage will only affect abilities that deal direct damage and not periodic effects
Wardrobe
  • The Wardrobe feature has been added to the game!
    • This feature allows players to display gear and weapons on their character without affecting their equipped stats
    • Other players will see each others' customized gear (PVP, inspect, etc.)
    • Players can customize their looks with a variety of new and existing equipment
    • Any item already in the wardrobe can be set to the current look any number of times
    • If an item has ever been earned it can be added to the wardrobe for a few Gold Shields
    • Any item purchased with Gold Shields will automatically be added to the wardrobe
Player vs. Player
  • Initiative is no longer affected by haste
  • Improved balance
Classes
  • Many new abilities have been added to the game
  • Due to extensive changes in the abilities and talent trees, all characters have had their points refunded and will be supplied with a free respec token via in-game mail

      SHADOW WALKER
        Tier 1
        • Piercing Strike - Single target physical attack, dealing 110/130/150% weapon damage with a 15/20/25% chance to critically hit
        • Caltrops - Multiple target physical attack, dealing 60/90/120% weapon damage over time, slowing enemies by 15/20/25% and halving dodge chance
        • Neurotoxic Stab - A short single target nature attack, dealing 50% weapon damage to an enemy and applies Neurotoxin effect, which reduces melee and magic rating by 5/10/15%
        • Quickness - Passive, increases damage from your offhand weapon attack by 50/100/150 and dodge chance by 5/10/15%
        • Ensnare - Single target nature attack, dealing 25% weapon damage and stunning the enemy for 2.0 seconds. Cannot be avoided but the stun will break once the enemy is damage
        Tier 2

        • Poison Cloud - Multiple target nature attack, dealing 60/80/100% weapon damage and applies Poison Cloud effect, which does additional 60/90/120% weapon damage over time
        • Reflexive Strike - A fast single target physical attack, 50/60/70% weapon damage
        • Lethal Poison - Passive, increases damage of nature abilities by 5/10/15%
        • Garrote - Single target physical attack, dealing 50% weapon damage and applies Garrote effect, which reduces dodge and block chance by 10/20/30%
        • Toxic Blade - Single target nature attack, dealing 110/140/170% weapon damage and applies Poison effect, which reduces resistance to nature damage by 15%. Poisoned effect can stack up to 3 times
        Tier 3

        • Assassinate - Passive, grants a 25/50/75% chance to deal bonus 100% weapon damage to a random target after scoring a killing blow
        • Corrosive Blades - Passive, grants a 20/35/50% chance for any successful attack to apply a stack of Poisoned effect to the target. Poisoned effect reduces resistance to nature damage by 15%. Poisoned effect can stack up to 3 times
        • Sticky Grenade - Multiple target physical attack, attach a grenade to your enemies and after a 2.0 second delay, it will explode dealing 100/150/200% weapon damage
        • b]Acid Spray[/b] - Multiple target nature attack, dealing 50/65/80% damage and applies Poisoned effect, which reduces resistance to nature damage by 15%. Poisoned effect can stack up to 3 times
        • Riposte - Passive, grants a 20/40/60% chance to immediately complete your current action after dodging an enemy’s attack
        Tier 4

        • Shadow Veil - Self-cast, hide your next attack from your enemy and gain an extra 10/15/20% bonus damage on that attack
        • Smoke Bomb - Multiple target attack, decreases your ability cooldown timers by 1.0 second and increases your enemy ability timer by 0.5/0.75/1.0 second. Cannot be used within the first 1.0 second of combat
        • Death Wish - Passive, while your health remains below 25%, you deal 20/35/50% increased damage
        • Critical Eye - Passive, grants a 10/15/20% chance to deal a critical hit and 10/20/30% critical hit power with physical attacks
        • Urgency - Passive, grants a 10/20/30% chance after being hit to gain 15% haste for 2.0 seconds
      JUSTICAR
        Tier 1

        • Brutal Strike - Single target physical attack: dealing 120/140/160% weapon damage and delays the enemy’s actions by 0.20/0.25/0.30 second
        • Cleave - Multiple target physical attack: dealing 100/120/140% weapon damage to all enemies
        • Condemn - Single target spirit attack: dealing 100% weapon damage and applies Wrath to an enemy. Wrath reduces spirit resistance by 15%. Wrath can stack up to 3 times
        • Weapon Focus - Passive: increases melee and magic rating 5/10/15%
        • Stunning Blow - Single target spirit attack: dealing 30/5070% weapon damage and stunning the enemy for 2.0 seconds. Cannot be avoided but the stun will break once the enemy is damage
        Tier 2

        • Radiant Light - A quick multiple target spirit attack, dealing 40/60/80% weapon damage to all enemies and purges 1/2/3 beneficial effects that are on your enemy
        • Wound - Single target physical attack, dealing 70/85/100% weapon damage and applies a stack of Bleeding, dealing additional 100% weapon damage over time. Stacks up to 3 times
        • Elder Fury - Passive, increases weapon speed by 0.05/0.1/0.15 seconds, knockback resist by 15/20/25% and block by 4/8/12% while wielding a two-handed weapon
        • Execute - Single target physical attack, deals 75% weapon damage to an enemy. Deals 100/150/200% bonus weapon damage on enemies with 25% or less health
        • Smite - Single target spirit attack, deals 150/175/200% weapon damage to an enemy. Cannot be dodged or blocked
        Tier 3

        • Rend - Passive, grants a 20/40/60% chance for any successful physical attack to apply a stack of Bleeding, dealing 100% weapon damage over time. Stacks up to 3 times
        • Spirit Link - Passive, grants a 20/35/50% chance for any successful spirit attack to apply a stack of Wrath, reducing resistance to spirit damage by 15%. Stacks up to 3 times
        • Seismic Slash - A quick multiple target physical attack, deals 40/50/60% weapon damage to all enemies and delays enemy actions by 0.50/0.75/1.0 seconds. Cannot be used within the first 1.0 second of combat
        • Heavenly Wave - Multiple target spirit attack, deals 100/110/120% weapon damage to all enemies and cleanses 1 negative effect on you
        • Backswing - Passive, grants a 25/50/75% chance to deal a bonus 100% weapon damage to a target after they dodge a physical attack
        Tier 4

        • Heroic Will - Self-cast, reduce your ability cooldown timers by 1.0/2.0/3.0 second, allowing you to reuse your combat abilities more quickly
        • Juggernaut - Self-cast, increases status resist by 100% for 1.0 second
        • Frenzy - Passive, grants 10/20/30% physical damage to targets affected by Bleeding
        • Vengeance - Passive, 20/35/50% chance after being hit to gain Vengeance, increasing outgoing damage by 10%. Stacks up to 3
        • Stagger - Passive, after blocking an attack with a shield, enemy is staggered and does 15/30/45% less damage for 1.0 second
      WAR MAGE
        Tier 1

        • Incinerate - Single target fire attack, deals 125/150/175% weapon damage to an enemy
        • Flaming Pyre - Multiple target fire attack, dealing 100/120/140% weapon damage to all enemies
        • Frozen Shard - A fast single target ice attack, deals 75/100/125% weapon damage to an enemy and applies Chilled effect, reducing the target’s speed and dodge by 20%
        • Inner Focus - Passive, increases your magic rating by 10/20/30%
        • Icy Grasp - A single target ice attack, dealing 25% weapon damage and freezing your enemy for 2.0 seconds. Increases ice damage by 25% when the enemy is Frozen. Cannot be avoided but the stun will break once the enemy is damage
        Tier 2

        • Ice Storm - Multiple target ice attack, deals 70/85/100% weapon damage to all enemies and applies Chilled effect, reducing their speed and dodge by 20%
        • Fiery Lash - A fast single target fire attack, deals 75/85/95% weapon damage to an enemy and applies Burning effect, dealing an additional 100% Fire damage over time. Stacks up to 3 times
        • Staff Mastery - Passive, increase weapon speed by 0.05/0.1/0.15 seconds and health by 5/10/15% while wielding a two-handed weapon
        • Fire Blast - A fast single target fire attack, deals 40/50/60% weapons damage to an enemy. Deals double damage if the enemy is Burning
        • Ice Lance - Single target ice attack, dealing 100/125/150% weapon damage to an enemy and delays their actions by 0.40 second
        Tier 3

        • Fire Mastery - Passive, increases the critical hit power of Fire spells by 15/30/45% and periodic damage effects by 10/20/30%
        • Ice Mastery - Passive, increases damage of Ice spells by 5/10/15% and gives a 4/8/12% chance to Freeze
        • Magma Jet - Multiple target fire attack, dealing 50/60/70% weapon damage to all enemies and applying Smoldering Armor, reducing defense by 10/20/30%
        • Shattering Force - Multiple target ice attack, dealing 60/75/90% weapon damage to all enemies. Deals double damage if Frozen
        • Ice Spike Armor - Passive, magically retaliate 10/20/30% of weapon damage as Ice damage
        Tier 4

        • Snap Cast - Self-Cast, instantly cast, allows the next spell to be cast instantly. Cannot be used within the first 1.5 seconds of combat
        • Time Void - Multiple targets, interrupts all enemy attacks
        • Elemental Fracture - Passive, ice attacks apply Fire Fracture, reducing the enemy’s fire resistance by 5/10/15%. Fire attacks apply Ice Fracture, reducing the enemy’s ice resistance by 5/10/15%. Stacks up to 3 times
        • Ignite - Passive, adds a 25/50/75% chance to add a stacking Burning effect from Fire spells, dealing an additional 100% weapon damage over time. Stacks up to 3 times
        • Arcane Shield - Passive, after being hit, you get a 10/15/20% chance to gain an Arcane Shield that absorbs 75% of the next attack
Quests
  • Vile Realm Chapters 1 and 2 are available
  • Wardrobe quests have been added
  • Some quests from levels 25-30 have been refactored to require less kills or quest item drops
  • New daily quests have been implemented
Dungeons
  • Three new dungeons are available
Raids
  • A new Champion's Valor tier raid has been added to the game
Items
  • A full complement of Tier 16 Armor and Weapons is available
  • Gems now show which player specification they are set to in the inventory, equip, and workshop screens
  • Energy potions can now be purchased at full price from the temple
  • Pure essence has been added to the game
  • Tier 6 gems have been added to the game and one at random will cycle into the Black Market each rotation
  • Tier 5 gem shards have been added to the game
  • Vile Healing Potions have been added to the game. They must be unlocked via questing before they can be purchased
  • Pure Essence Recipe has been added to the game. It must be unlocked via questing before it can be used
  • Various new crafting recipes
  • The price of Tier 3, Tier 4, and Tier 5 gems have been reduced (both Valor and Gold Shields)
  • The price of all gear in the Soldier's Valor tier and the Captain's Valor tier has been reduced
  • New gem bundles for Tier 5 have been added
  • The epic crafting materials (Alpha Paw, Iron Basilisk Eye, etc.) have been removed from the Black Market
  • Diamond Gravers have been added to the game
  • Refined Essence and Pure Essence have been added to the Black Market
  • The available flux in the black market has been increased each cycle
Feats
  • Many new feats for the Vile Realm have been added to the game
  • Feats for the wardrobe have been added to the game
Guilds
  • The guild loyalty penalty for leaving a guild has been reduced to 10% (from 50%)
  • Two new guild challenges have been implemented which reward new guild favors
    • Favor of Intensity - Increased periodic damage by 10%
    • Favor of Will - Increased knockback resistance by 10%
Chat
  • Guild tags have been implemented in chat. Guilds can create a tag that their members can use. Players can turn this tag on or off.
  • Moderation events will no longer be displayed in global chat

Bug Fixes
  • The narration after defeating Helion has been updated
  • Fixed an issue which caused buff timers to stop animating
  • Fixed an issue which would cause "Time's Up" to show up before the time debuff in Onslaught ran out
  • Raid ticker should now be properly filtering messages to the correct raid and time again
  • Fixed a bug that would cause a "Not Responding" message when opening the application on Android
  • Fixed a bug that would cause players not to exit combat properly after narrations are displayed
  • Fixed an issue which would sometimes cause the combat screen to appear blacked out in PVP
  • Resolved an issue which would sometimes cause a server error when using the main menu
  • Fixed a problem that would cause the "Take Over Guild" button not to be displayed after the correct amount of inactive days had passed
  • Fixed a bug that would cause the tutorial arrow to disappear after backgrounding the application
  • Fixed a bug which would cause the guild member count to be inaccurate
  • Fixed a rare issue which would sometimes cause all abilities to be on cooldown during the first turn in PVP
  • Fixed various Android chat related issues
  • Blessing of Fortune now modifies silver rewards in PVP
  • Fixed a problem with the inventory count being inflated when second spec was selected
  • Fixed a bug that caused the incorrect player specification button to be displayed
  • Fixed a bug with onslaught which was causing procs to not trigger on killing blows to a boss
  • Fixed a bug with onslaught which would cause buffs to not properly be applied when a boss respawned
  • Resolved an issue displaying the date when a device's locale was set to Russian
  • Runes no longer consume Snap Cast
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the preview popup to come up if changing equipment at certain times
  • Fixed a rare bug that would cause a game crash when a player used an ability which procs a stun effect
  • Added support for some missing character fonts
  • Fixed an issue which would cause the game to crash if a daily quest was abandoned
  • Fixed an issue which would cause players to get a desync at the end of PVP due to the daily quest
Known Issues
  • When previewing gear for your character in a store the wardrobe customization is not shown
  • When customizing your wardrobe some users may see their character not match the selected wardrobe items. This is purely cosmetic and only incorrect in the wardrobe customization screen. The look of your customized character in all other parts of the game, including how your character appears to other users is correct
  • Spirit Link (Rank 1) incorrectly states it grants a 25% chance to apply Wrath on a successful Spirit attack. It only grants a 20% chance to apply Wrath

Hopefully it will be answered in them, but are device requirements changing at all? We have a number of guild members on older devices that are concerned with this major version update excluding them.

Beekeo has stated that Droid 2.x should be ok, and that to the best of his knowledge device reqs aren't changing, if that helps.

(Yeah, I had Global on whilst on a toon out of guild. *shudder* I won't feel clean for weeks...)
