World Event- Undead Invasion

Located near the Ebian Forest and Fellmarsh on the World Map.

Level 1- 30

Similar to an Incursion Portal, it lasts for 60 min, has Levels 1- 5, then an unlimited Max Level ( Level 6 ).

Level 1- 5 appear to drop 2 Candy Corn * Level. Ex: Level 4 appears to drop 8 Candy Corn per Combat Encounter/ Loot Roll (CELR). Level 6 appears to drop 14 Candy Corn per CELR.

Level 5 appears to add Elite Mobs.

Level 6 appears to add multiple Elite Mobs.

First Undead Invasion I used 150 Energy plus 18 regenerated Energy plus Luck 6.5% to earn 924 Candy Corn.

If you still have an Elixir of Luck, it would be useful for Level 6.

Max Level ( Level 6 ) always drops 14 Candy Corn, but Silver Coin & Hero Score depends on number of Elite Undead ( 0- 2 ).

(Edit: not a bug, Extra Loot! see below ) Note bug sometimes treats 8th CELR per Level as next Level for Candy Corn. Exit Invasion & reenter to reset progress bar.

4 more CELR ( 8 Energy ) to reach Max Level than Vile Incursion Portals.

Spending Gold Shields in Undead Invasion

If you are spending Gold Shields for Energy during the Undead Invasion, here are some numbers to compare:

Level 5 Undead Invasion = [ 10 Candy Corn / 2 Energy ] * [ 3 Energy / 1 Gold Shield ]=
15 Candy Corn per 1 Gold Shield,
Or
22.5 Candy Corn per 1 Gold Shield when Tier 9 Jack-o’-Buckler is in inventory (unequipped or equipped),

Level 6 Undead Invasion = [ 14 Candy Corn / 2 Energy ] * [ 3 Energy / 1 Gold Shield ]=
21 Candy Corn per 1 Gold Shield,
Or
31.5 Candy Corn per 1 Gold Shield when Tier 9 Jack-o’-Buckler is in inventory (unequipped or equipped),

Versus
20 Candy Corn / 1 Gold Shield in Halloween Shop.

Those numbers get even better in favor of farming waves when you spend Energy Potions at 7 gs per 24 energy. Raid that black market tomorrow!

The actual numbers become
17 1/7 corn per gs for wave 5
25 4/7 corn per gs for wave 5 w/ buckler
24 corn per gs for wave 6
36 corn per gs for wave 6 with buckler

The downside is of course that the black market only sells 10 potions per instance.

Invasion & 46 Energy Bar

If you enter the Undead Invasion, use a full 46 Energy Bar, and go back to weekend errands, you will get at least 94 Candy Corn ( 141 with Jack-o'-Buckler ).

Equations

For Rewards, this is the same as Level 1 having 7 Combat Encounters/ Loot Rolls (CELR) and Level 2- 5 having 8 CELR (Note 1)
