I just hit 100 kills with my second guy, who got BONUS LOOT on the 100th kill. however, unlike tragic valentine, only ONE transfer plate dropped. :-( sadpuppy.

This was the first event I didn't hate. The HG and TV weird schedules were such a pain to deal with. Every 2 hours is great. If you miss one, it wasn't the end of the world and you didn't have to remember the schedule that would drift everyday.

Were Chef Speed Tips

Since Were Chef only lasts 15 minutes, it can be tough to kill 3 Were Chefs then Dungeon Bank 1 Were Chef (total of 48 Energy). Many tips for Max Raid Speed also apply to Were Chef.

Note: During Speed Raids you get Reward Mails, so Luck Enchant only slows you down. During Were Chef, Luck Enchant can trigger during Treasure Chest, so the sacrifice in speed is worth it.

Research Note: (you can skip this) You can have Spec 1 with 0% Luck and Spec 2 with 0.5- 9% Luck, then switch to Spec 2 before fighting the Were Chef himself.

Advanced Tactics
All Food is on a 6-8 second Cool down (more data needed)

Spinach= +33% all damage dealt, for 2 seconds. This makes Spinach similar to a Potion of Power when deciding tactics.

Rotten Tomato= Fast Nature Attack, plus DOT 100% base weapon damage, dealt over 2 seconds. This is as fast as a Shadow Walker's Reflexive Strike, but with a powerful Stack 1 DOT. Useful if Were Chef's Batter (Stun Attack) is faster than your attacks.

Pepper Shaker= Instant Attack, 1 second Stun, depending on roll, can Stun your character instead. Useful if Were Chef resists your attempt to stop his Batter (Stun Attack). Due to chance of backfire, use when close to full Health.

Bacon= 3500 Heal plus Next attack 100% Crit Buff ("You ate bacon! You have a 100% chance to crit on your next attack."). Very useful for high Crit Damage Magic attacks such as Fire Mastery Rank p3+ Incinerate Rank 3 or Brutality Rank p3+ Smite Rank 3. If you have Accuracy Enchant, or a Minor Frost Rune, to reduce Dodge, it is also useful with high Crit Damage Melee attacks such as Brutality Rank p3+ Frenzy Rank p3+ Brutal Strike Rank 3 for pure Melee Justicars or Critical Eye Rank p3+ Piercing Strike Rank 3 for Melee/ Melee & Magic Shadow Walkers.

seems a waste to use these dropped consumables on were chef unless u are not sure u can have 100 kills until event ends. even then better use runes.
personally I saving all these food supplies as addition to kfc. ahem kfs:)

Heroes! There is a slight change to the Were-Chef schedule.

The next Were-Chef appearance will be at 4pm EDT/8pm GMT and will last for 30 minutes. After that point, the event will run every 3 and 1/2 hours and will be available for 30 minutes.

Here's a ****** novel idea: Leave the event up permanently until Monday and let people manage their own energy regen and raid schedule.

It's not ****** rocket surgery...

Also, when you attempt to force gold-shield purchases through underhanded tactics like this, it really makes me want to quit and walk away.

Schedule change was a pretty raw deal. I was killing 4 every 2 hours and now that is reduced to 5 every 4 hours. I'm simply not going to be able to finish on all characters.

Hobgoblin was horrible due to the random Shamrock (0 on 5 toons). Valentine at least made it possible to get it all done, though I did forfeit some sleep.

This event was finally just right with a fixed schedule and good interval. The waves are tough, but that is the tradeoff for consistency. So when you get it right, you change the rules?

This game has lost the luster very sadly. You had a formula where mindless, repetitive button mashing was actually fun, but have done everything possible to rip the joy from it (slow content development, bad pvp, abusive holiday events).

Please go back to the original formula. Knights & Dragons will be getting my time and spare change until then.

Just a little more information on why this change was made.

This change was put in place to address concerns many players have voiced to us over the last few days. Specifically in regards to not being able to run raids while the event is happening. The concern brought to us by guild GMs has been that raid participation is low due to the nature of how often the event spawns, to the point that they have had to cancel most raids. We spread out the event windows and increased the amount of time for each window so that guilds could continue to schedule their raids in between the event spawns and not have to work about the event cutting into their raid time.

We're definitely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused to players who had initially planned when they wanted to complete their kills.

In all fairness we have all year round to run raids, events like this come along once in a blue moon and people that havent been farming chef since start will now have to dip into there pockets to finish the feats.

This is reducing my kill rate by 50% or more. Every 2hrs was fine, let people manage their own e, as was suggested above.

But require a clarification because it's ambiguous.

The wording suggests a 3.5hr rotation, 3 off, 0.5 on.
Logistically, that'll be a pain in the ass for planning event hits and raids.

I'm hoping that what is MEANT is a 4hr rotation, 3.5 off, 0.5 on. That woild at least be consistent one day to the next.
Can someone confirm?
