Too Many Enchants or Buying a Black Market Recipe

Q: The Black Market is here, what Recipes should X buy?

A: Remember, most items in the Black Market can be Farmed by your character, but it will take *a lot* of time.

DO NOT purchase the following
Shadow Walker
2 handed Damage (they do not get 2 handed weapons).

Poor purchase
Justicar
Block/ Block Mitigation (in v1.6 two handed weapons are best if spending Potions and Gold Shields on Energy in Raids)
Fire Damage (only works with Runes)
Ice Damage (only works with Runes)
Nature Damage (only works with Runes)

Shadow Walker
Block/ Block Mitigation (Off Hand Dagger improves Damge Over Time and Critical Hits)
Fire Damage (only works with Runes)
Ice Damage (only works with Runes)
Spirit Damage (only works with Runes)

War Mage
Block/ Block Mitigation (Staff 1.3 Speed gets *huge* advantages over Main Hand Weapon and Light Shield)
Nature Damage (only works with Runes)
Spirit Damage (only works with Runes)

As a General Rule of Thumb, the higher the % per rank of an enchant, the more specialized it is, the lower the % per rank, the more useful it is.

Example: Accuracy at 1.5% per rank reduces an opponent's ability to Dodge, but does nothing for zero Dodge Monsters. 1 hand Damage at 1.0% per rank increases your weapon's damage, but does not increase your damage from Augment Gems. If your Melee/ Magic Damage bonus is very high, you will not actually get 1% per rank increase in damage per attack. Armor Penetration is 0.8% per rank, most High Level Monsters have *some* high Resistance (Ex: Queen Bogwarm has incredible Nature Resist) so this Enchant is general the most useful.

MY PERSONAL OPINION
I use the following metaphor, Gear & Gems are the vehicle you choose, Tomes/ Hero Training is the brand of your vehicle, and enchants are the options. With this metaphor it is more important if you choose a freight hauler vs a sports car (gem/ gear) or a Ford vs a Ferrari (tomes/ hero training) than if you choose a Bose Stereo vs a JVC Stereo (Skill based enchant) when it comes to the preformance of you character while Farming or Raiding.

I always recommend getting all Top Tier Gear (Captain Valor) and all Top Tier or Penultimate Tier Gems (Captain Valor or Knight Valor) before worrying about Hero Tokens or Runic Enchantments. Gear works with *any* Gems, gives you better base weapon damage (ususally +33% between Valors) and better Armor. Gems work with any Gear. Runic Enchantments work only with a specific item and cost roughly 50% in Material Costs to create a Transfer Plate and move to a new item.
