Looks like Bronze Finish pays the same in Gear & Gems as old v1.4 Raids since they cut the cost of everything 75%. Gold & Silver Finish just give you extra Gear & Gems.

So Venan made v1.5 Raids easier (except for some of the higher KV).

Now that v1.5.3 is here, spreading out Hero Tokens evenly is a personal preference. Defense (Dodge, Physical Resist, Magic Resist) does not increase your RPP and Raid Rewards. In addition, Enchants increase your Might Rating helping you get into Raids (Especially TVal's Transfer Plate and Black Market Transfer Plates). I am at 19k Might Rating and still spreading my Hero Tokens evenly, but many others are concentrating on MMCCpH (Magic, Melee, Crit, Crit Power, Haste) just like 1.4.

Archive: Bj's Attempt at DWR v2.0

Hi Guildmates,

Back before I got sick, CJ turned over the Guild to BjofCJandBj (Bj_DWR test account). I ran lots of experiments to attempt to find a Raid Style that would work well with me as GM and the members. Due to software limits at the time, I could not do everything I wanted. BoH v1.6 is a great improvement in the running of Raids, but only small refinements in administrating a Guild.

Now that CJ has taken over as GM of Deathwing Raiders, I wanted to preserve for future reference some of my initial drafts including the research.

Hi Guild members,

CJ and I have had a blast Chatting and Raiding with you guys.

Back when our family could afford it, I spend over $450 USD on energy (Gold Shields) for one character (War Mage Agatha) on one Raid (Forgotten Sentinels) to prevent the Raid from failing (25% of Raids Total RPP) just so DWR could Unlock the next Raid (War of Fellmarsh). While this was the largest single amount, it was not all the money we spent.

CJ and I have a new budget and cannot afford to spend this much (or more) money unlocking Captain Valor Raids or running Captain Valor Raids.

Deathwing Raiders can go in many directions.

Not going to happen:
Disband- we all worked hard to get to Guild Level 8. Thank you guys.

Swap with TFT- We could swap with TheFarmTeam since they would get the maximum benefits from our Guild Favors. But they cannot run most of the high level Raids.

Might happen anyway (Archival Edit: pre-Find Raid button):
Quest Only Guild- never runs Raids higher than squire Valor.

Training Guild- like TheFarmTeam but for Soldier Valor. limit of 3 characters per player.

Onslaught Only Guild- only run Crypt of Corruption and The Shadow Comes.

Captain Valor means limit of 1 character per player. (When calling for Mercs you can bring in 1 other character).
Knight Valor means limit of 2 characters per player. (When calling for Mercs you can bring in 2 other characters).

Scale Back- Either 2 or 4 raids per week. Need to attend 50% of scheduled Raids.

Alliance- Schedule with 1 or 2 other guilds to Raid with them and they Raid with us.

Captain Valor
Co-GM- helps me organize membership info, runs first Unlock Raid Day (WoF)
Guild Councilor- runs an Unlock Raid Day (WoF)
Veteran/ Members attend Unlock Raids
Officers of the Day- runs that days Raids
Recruits are Casual/ Friends/ Mercs


If Bj_DWR running Raids than each day of the week will have an Officer of the Day who will organize and run that day’s Main Raid

Guild Info Page:
Unlimited burning for Mercs & Members
Notice that Mercs & Members are limited to X characters (possibly unlimited)
Raid Schedule including Day, Raid, Officer and Volatile Portal

Veterans/ Officers will have Units
Initially assigned X members, no size limit
Track each squad members’ RPP for the week (member’s Power), and total (member’s Prestige).
Members can switch squads
They can name unit anything they like

v1.6.1 Shadow Walker

Currently I am running BarbSpice, a 20k Might Rating Shadow Walker, Magic & Melee Gems, All Defensive Enchants, T14 & T15 Gear.

When v1.7 is released I will set up a brand new Spec #1 tailored just for Mobs and a brand new Spec #2 tailored just for Raid Bosses.

Until then I did not want to spend a lot of money on Respec Tokens since we only get a Spec #1, so I came up with the following Build (Note 1):

3/3 Toxic Blade (useful against all Bosses/ Elites)
3/3 Caltrop (useful against Bosses/ Elites with Stuns, High Resist, High Dodge or Strong Buffs)

3/3 Piercing Strike (useful against all Bosses/ Elites)

Dead Guilds & Loyalty

If you want to get Guild Loyalty Perks in a Dead Guild (avoid Merc vs Guild Drama during a Raid based Event), or transfer from a Dead Guild to an Active Guild (start getting Valor and HT again), Lucky Event is a great time to get Loyalty and Materials.

VG Raid is good for Loyalty, Essence and Flux
WoFfle Raid is good for Loyalty and Fell Leaves.
Vallus Raid is good for Loyalty and Polar Melt.
Zuur Raid is good for Loyalty and Mountain Lichen.

Note: In the past, Lucky did not appear during Onslaught Phases such as Phase 2 & 3 of LEGS Raid.

Selling off my Pirate's Ace because they are only 2 second duration with 10 sec cool down, basically a weaker version of Spinach (Note A), and each sells for 7,500 silver coin, more than an Elixir.

Minimum of 10 Bouts for Weekly Rewards, cannot keep chaining 1 GS from Bout into more Resolve (2 GS per 3 Resolve or Black Market Resolve Potions, must wait until end of week), by hiding the number of Bouts until Reward, players more likely to squeeze in one more PvP Bout, when they have the time, by lumping the GS into on Reward Mail, seems larger than 1 GS per Bout, by lumping the GS into a weekly reward, more likely to spend on a social interaction (prestige seasonal gear or guild raid), spend all week dreaming of what spend weekly GS on.
