If you have Tier 16 Gear & 18 Enchants at Rank 3, or higher, & Tier 3, or higher, Gems, you can get Silver but not Gold.

If you have Tier 18 Gear & 18 Enchants at Rank 3, or higher, & Tier 6, or higher, Gems, you can get Gold & might be able to get into Masters.

A complete Coliseum Gear Set helps you improve your PvP Rating by about 10%. But when you sell it, you get silver coin not Marks, so wait for Tier 18 Coliseum Gear.

Use Marks to buy Enchant Recipes & save for Tier 18 Gear.

If you are in Bronze, Silver or Gold Leagues, do your 4 PvP Bouts for Daily Bonus, then quit for day.

PvP Challenges of Guild mates is good way to practice PvP tactics.

Recipes are always a good use of Marks because in PvE, they are ultra rare drops, except those from Majerio's Shop or Quests Rewards.

Raiding is a good way to get Gems, because you also get Hero Tokens. But Valor cannot buy Coliseum Gear.

Short answer for 4 PvP Bouts per day at Gold. Mark League rewards unbalanced until you get to Platinum & Masters. So use Raids to get Tier 18 Gear, then when get to Platinum use Marks to get into Masters. But what ever way you have fun.

Start Enchanting after you unlock the Vile Realm.

Transferring Enchants are expensive, especially Rank 4 and higher, unless you are using Gold Shields (Arcane Transfer). So I recommend stopping Enchants at Rank 3 until you get Tier 18 Gear. Also easier to start over if you pick wrong Enchants for PvP or Raids.

If I get a cool PvP Bout, I will still post it to PvP Chat, but I am mostly done with PvP Chat:

A) If I am chatting & a match is made, it does not auto save my text.

B) my blue tooth keyboard is hard to use on mass transit.

C) Doing a lot of Portals so I can open Vile Realm as soon as possible.

D) I am PvPing less since the Marks are so poor compared to other currency (see Bouts per Gems on Forum).

E) There is no way to save Replays, if it shows a cool PvP Technique.

F) I finished my PvP Tests. All results posted to BoH Forums

If I run into you in PvP Chat, feel free to say Hi!

As a rule more might is better in a Build, however for your PvP Build, Speed & Hitting Power determine most PvP Bouts. the +10% for a Coliseum 9/9 Set is huge, each +1 VS Player is the same as +1% for 2h Damage (if Staff equipped).

In PvE might helps you get into Raids since each Valor is worth 20 of the next lowest Valor. ex: 1 Soldier = 20 squire.

Better armor saves you silver coin on Healing Potions in PvE, but you can get away with lower Tier armor for PvP as long as hit hard & fast since no healing in PvP. One of the reasons Snap Cast (attack) & Juggernaut (anti-Stun, anti- Debuff) are so powerful.

Good use of Juggernaut, Cleave & Stunning Blow

Postby Bj_Knows » Fri Feb 06, 2015 2:05 pm

Subject
Good use of Juggernaut, Cleave, & Stunning Blow

Replay WM Cassidy vs Justicar [SoA] irony (zeus)

Cassidy- Frozen Shard 3
Zeus- Juggernaut 3
Cassidy- Shattering Force 1
Zeus- Brutal Strike 3
Cassidy- Defend
Zeus- Stunning Blow (Cassidy Stunned)

Remember
Stunned characters have
Knockback Resist +100% (bad time to use Knockback)
Dodge automatically zero (good time for long casting time, high damage physical attacks)
Block automatically zero (good time for long casting time, high damage physical attacks)
Crit Resistance +0% (good time for Piercing Strike)
Status Resist +0% (good time for Debuffs)

Heroic Will 3
Cleave 3 (long casting time, high damage physical, with no Knockback)
Breaks Cassidy’s Stun
Juggernaut 3

Cassidy- Frozen Shard 3
Zeus- Seismic lash 3 (Cassidy has a large Knockback bar)

Remember
Knockback bar is unaffected by Riposte.

Brutal Strike 3 for a Critical Hit.

Zeus wins.

Need to get the Status Resist for my characters to Rank 6 or 8.

First 3 are TRUE.
Not very sure how true Izit for Crit resist but Status Resist at 0% when target is stunned is definitely FALSE.
