Subject
GWM- Specs, Might, & Stat Changes

Guild Wide Mail
Usually Might & Stats will change between Specs due to following:
Passive Class Abilities,
Gear (most visible),
Enchants on Gear (Ranks only visible in Workshop)
Gems,
Gem placement in Gem Slots (least visible).

Ex: Points in Inner Focus, Tier 16 Axe vs. Tier 15 Trident, Tier 16 Ring of Fire rank 4 vs. Tier 16 Ring of Luck rank 6, Tier 6/5/4 Haste Gems vs. Tier 5/4 Crit Gems in Yellow Slots, and White Gem Slot in Amulet having two difference Tier Gems could all be differences between two Specs that change Stats & Might.

Stats & Might do not change between Specs for the following:
Hero Training/ Tomes,
Level,
Elixirs/ Potions/ Food.

Overview
T15 Coat better than WM T14 Chest Armor, but worse than SW T14 Chest & Justi T14 Chest

T13 Hat/ T13 Halo better than WM T12 Hat, but worse than SW T12 Hat & Justi T12 Hat.

All Cloaks are same, so T15 Wings better than T14 Cloak.

Details
In 2012 HoliGob, people complained that the T13 Cloth Hat was worse than the T12 Leather SW & T12 Mail Justi Hats (WM Cloth T12 so no complaints).

2013 TVal mysteriously dropped T13 Mail Bracers for Justi, T13 Leather Bracers for SW & T13 Cloth Bracers for WM. So TVal Bracers good upgrade.

2013 HoliGob left T13 Cloth Hat and added T13 Cloth Halo, T15 Cloth Coat, & T15 Cloth Wings.

All Cloaks are Cloth Armor so T15 Wings better than T14 Cloaks, so good upgrade.

T13 Cloth Hat & T13 Cloth Halo better armor than WM T12 Cloth Hat, but not SW T12 Leather Hat & Justi T12 Mail Hat. Due to diminishing returns, only reason for SW or Justi to switch to T13 Cloth Hat was Raid Might requirement, or to switch Enchants, otherwise poor choice.

Since Chest Armor has the most armor of any item, this is even worse with the Coat for SW & Justi than the Hat. If you have T14 Chest Armor & T15 Holiday Coat, you should really consider wearing T14 Leather or T14 Mail Chest Armor, with the appearance of Holiday Coat, until T16 Chest Armor.

It would be a *lot* less confusing if HoliGob Gear was Cloth Armor for WM, Leather Armor for SW & Mail Armor for Justi.

Summary
Currently as Designed for Sticky Grenade & Haste(see Forum).

More Details
Unless you PvP, Rank 0 or 1 (SG0 or SG1) is best since at high Might, Haste is important in especially Onslaught.

SG1 no initial damage & Damage Over Time not affected by Haste.

However, SG1 cannot be resisted, & supposedly cannot be Cleansed or Time Stabilized.

Most useful vs. Solo Boss (ex: Valentine) when Ensnare, SG1, Caltrop, Poison Cloud/ Piercing Strike/ Toxic Blade since SG1 same speed as Defend.

LuckyF appears if A) Any Raid but GG Raid B) Phase of Raid is Regular (2e Enter) not Onslaught (4e+ Enter, no LuckyF). Clovers- 1 per LuckyF, 5 per Lockbox, unused lost after Event. Lockbox- 10k Silver, 500 GS, Elixir of Luck, T15 Hat/ 1H Weapon, etc.

2014 LuckyF only 5 Clovers per Lockbox instead of 10 Clovers of 2013 so Feat is half as hard.

Can win LuckyF Gear from LuckyF Lockbox or buy with GS.

T15 Shillelagh same as T15 Trident, buying that cost 600 GS in Candy Corn (12k at 100 per 5 GS). Looks like Venan cutting out buying Clovers step by just charging 390 GS.

Zuur Raid drops Lichen, Vallus drops Polar Melt & Ichor, WoF drops Fell Leaves.

SPOONS! Dungeon vs Portal

Postby Bj_Knows » Sun Apr 27, 2014 8:14 am

In Guild Mail Bj_Knows wrote:
Short Answer
Once access to Sha'lyn's Lair Dungeon, not worth running portals unless burning. Dungeons drop Major Runes, Shards, & Boss Silver plus Essence & Flux equal to Level 2 of Portals. Need to burn at least 72e at portal Max Level (4)

Long Answer
24e spent on Level 1 balances 24e spent on Level 3 making first 72e spent in Portals same as energy spent in Vile Realm Dungeons but without the Boss Treasures, including rare drops like 3-5 GS. If you spent 144e, or more, in Portals, your extra Essence & Flux in Max Level (4) make up for Boss Treasure.

SPOONS! IM vs GWM

Postby Bj_Knows » Tue May 27, 2014 2:51 pm

In Guild Mail Bj_Knows wrote:
@Shadow, @Guild, How to Tell GWM ( Guild Wide Mail ). if you have a character on the same Venan ID, but different Guild (or no Guild), you can check that character. If they got the BoH Mail, it was IM ( Individual Mail ), if they did not, it was GWM.

Also if you delete an IM, all copies are deleted. If you delete a GWM on one character, other characters in the Guild will still have it.

Note: If you have 5 characters in the same Guild and your Guild starts and cancels Raids to sent Guild Wide Notifications, this will effectively reduce your BoH Mailbox by 80% capacity. You cannot do anything about five copies of each GWM sent by players, but you can go to options & turn off Raid Reports for 4 of your 5 characters in the same Guild on the same Venan ID. That way you get a copy of Raid Reports, but not five copies of the same Raid Report. Does not apply if all 5 characters are in a different Guild.

Hi Shadow, Hi Guild

OMG! You only have one character Shadow !?!

That is easy to fix, just create a Level 1 character ( on the same Venan ID ) to use as your Mail Clerk.

My Level 1 WM is not in a Guild, so any BoH Mails to her, are IM not GWM.

It sucks, but it will eventually get updated when Venan overhauls the Mail.

5gs bet with CJ says that Mail & Trade get updated together. Just like Spec 1 & 2 are getting updated with PvP Season 1.
