Some Science Behind Why We Love Gaming.

Mobile gaming is EVERYWHERE. Candy Crush, Clash of Clans, Total Conquest, Dungeon Gems, and while other games sit on the shelves collecting dust, we're spending our time swiping at tiles. WHY? Why are we so addicted to these games? The truth involves brain chemistry in a way you would NEVER expect!

Sorry, but I just gotta share this bcoz I find it very interesting on what makes us gamers, gamers. ;)

Well, gaming has been around a lot longer than today's kids realise. The addictive qualities of games haven't changed since the days of Pac-Man and earlier :-)

I love psychology ty for the link! I feel like gaming addiction is kinda akin to shopping addiction under those "socially acceptable addictions" these apps are nothing new I think casinos really gained a stronghold as they been around for forever like seriously I think slot machines you just push a button now..... I have extreeeeeeemely addictive personality,it's important to be aware is the only way you can combat it. But even chatting with folks on here I see similar qualities we share I guess I notice it more. This definitely good topic to bring up Tho everyone should be aware and definitely seek help if you have gaming addiction, may be temporary relief but long term it's detrimental seriously so many more tangible worthwhile things to do ^^ like everything moderation is key blah blah blah xD

On the topic desensitization, I think most end gamers and long time supporters are already experiencing it from the current development of BoH. BoH, we need some dopamine!!
