T19 Ring Of Eternity (Crafted)

Greetings everyone,

EricM recently received the T19 Ring of Eternity. (Karnak Upgrade)

To acquire the Ring of Eternity you must have killed Caliban and acquired a quest telling you to find 1 Impure Shadow. This can be found within Primal Mysteries raid; which is unlocked after completing the Crystallized Vengeance raid.

Once within Primal Mysteries you will have to reach Phase 3 (Boss fight) to gather Impure Shadow. (Note: Once you collect one take the RPP loss and turn in quest. As of current patch/hotfixes any Impure Shadow gathered without the quest "Primal Power" will not be counted.)

Once you turn in the quest the next quest "Primal Power" is available. for this quest you need to collect 1000 Impure Shadow and 1 Blood Oath Ring.

Blood Oath Ring - Bought from Majerio's Shope for 3720 Guardian Valor.
Impure Shadow - Primal Mysteries raid (Phase 3). Boss drops 1 per kill (more with luck enchant proc)

I skipped crafting Karnak ring so I guess I will have to go back and do it before killing Caliban. That said do you have to equip Karnak's ring or is it sufficient merely to have it in your inventory?

I believe Venan said you just need it in your wardrobe - ie. To have created it at some point in the past.

Congrats Eric! What I would like to know from the Devs is if the impure shadows collected before accepting the quest will eventually be counted towards the total? Seems a bit ridiculous that it's counted against us when we had no idea that the quest line had been moved to Glendort when most of us just we're excited to be done questing and wanted to jump into a raid right away.

The quest text is quite specific - she asks for one, then when you turn the quest in she gives you the actual quest to collect the 1000 and acquire the ring.

It probably shouldn't matter where and when you acquired them though, like it shouldn't matter when you acquired a quest for XP purposes.

karnak ring just unlock the quest for t19 or u need it to craft at the end with ring t18 and 1k immortal?
