This table lists the bonus Rewards for Karnak's Final Stand (KFS) versus same Energy spent in Horde of the Goblin King (GK) and Battle of the Vile Gate (VG).

I can do my best.

tl;dr - If you can kill more than five KFS bosses per onslaught phase, then it will get you the most CV for the least energy of anything you can do in BoH.

The second thing the post does is compare GK, VG and KFS p1 to each other. (the "For comparison purposes only" stuff at the bottom). This is a straightforward comparison of the loot you get per rpp in each of these three raids, based on bronze finishes. Instead of listing the CV reward, BJ has translated it into "energy per t5 gems. (energy per 3000 valor)" In this case, less is more, so VG will get you a t5 gem after only 1331 energy, while GK gives less valor, a rate of 1600 energy per gem. KFS is only a tiny bit worse than VG, at 1374 valor per gem.

Now, the fun part. Essentially, the mechanics of onslaught mean that it can be very lucrative to players who can kill lots of bosses in the time allowed. It costs a constant 10 energy to start an onslaught in KFS. This is the same a 5 "normal" waves. If you kill 5 bosses in the onslaught phase, you will break even, and get the same 750 rpp and valor as you would for 5 2-e hits on waves. BJ has done the math for us based on the comparison in the second part of his post and noted that this is 16% more than you would get hitting 5 times in GK.

But its entirely possible to do better. If you kill 6 bosses, you gain 900 RPP. That's 150RPP more than 5, but have still only paid 10e. You get two "free" energy toward your next gem! You effectively gain 6/5ths of your 116% gk loot, which comes out to 139% of GK. Kill 7, that's another 150RPP more, total of 1050, and you STILL only paid 10e for it. The only limit to killed bosses is your equipment, skill and setup. Kill ten (which is entirely possible at high mights) and you are essentially doubling your rewards per energy spent.

What this means is that if you can kill more than 5 bosses in an onslaught, it quickly becomes very lucrative. The tradeoff is that you will need to spend more resources. Health potions, cleansing potions, and runes as a matter of course, and if you want to maximize your kills you'll want haste pots and elixirs. But the rewards can essentially more than double your energy investment.
