The Frost Knights of the Vale once served a mighty dragon, which gave them their powers in ancient times. Now, they guard Glenfort from evil with their mastery of ice and cold.

Frost Knights are dual wielding heavy armor ice spell casters who has deadly physical attacks that combo with their chilly ice spells to keep their enemies slowed, cold and bleeding.

Below is their current ability tree excluding the values while we continue to play test them against the other classes. I will update this thread when the final values go in before the update. Please be aware that abilities may be subjected to change after further play tests for all classes.

Tier 1:
  • Frost Blade - An ice attack that coats your weapon in frost, dealing 110%|140%|170% weapon damage to an enemy and applies Cold effect, which reduces resistance to ice damage by 15%. Stacks up to 3 times.
  • Frozen Shard - A fast attack that deals 75%|100%|125% weapon damage to an enemy and applies Chilled effect, reducing the target's speed and dodge by 20%.
  • Devastate - Vicious physical attacks that deals 60%|80%|100% weapon damage to all enemies and applies a stack of Bleeding, dealing an additional 100% weapon damage over time. Stacks up to 3 times. An additional 60%|80%|100% is also dealt from the off hand weapon.
  • Axe Mastery - Increases damage from your axe by 15%|20%|25% and offhand weapon attack by 50%|100%|150%.
  • Icy Grasp -Encase your enemy in ice, dealing 25% weapon damage and Freezing them for 2.0 seconds. Breaks when enemy is damaged. Cannot be avoided. Cannot be used within the first 1.0 seconds of combat while in PvP.

Tier 2:
  • Savage Slash - a vicious physical attack that deals 70%|85%|100% weapon damage and applies a stack of Bleeding, dealing an additional 100% weapon damage over time while having a 20%|40%|60% % to cast Fury on you.
  • Ice Storm - An ice storm that deals 70%|85%|100% weapon damage to all enemies and applies Chilled effect, reducing their speed and dodge by 20%.
  • Reflexive Strike - A quick attack that deals 50%|60%|70% weapon damage to an enemy.
  • Ice Blast -A quick attack that deals 40%|50%|60% weapon damage to an enemy. Deals double damage if Chilled or Frozen.
  • Piercing Strike - Move in for the kill, dealing 110%|130%|150% weapon damage to an enemy and has +15%|20%|25% chance for a critical hit.

Tier 3:
  • Ice Mastery - Increases damage of Ice spells by 8%|14%|20%.
  • Sever - A physical attack, dealing 75% weapon damage to an enemy and reduces the enemy's next attack by 5%|10%|15% damage.
  • Flash Freeze - Grants 25%|50%|75% chance to Freeze a random target after scoring a killing blow.
  • Ice Lance - Send a powerful spike of ice, inflicting 100%|125%|150% weapon damage to an enemy and delays their actions by 0.15s|0.2s|0.25 seconds.
  • Shattering Force - Strike your enemies dealing 60%|70%|80% weapon damage to all enemies. Deals double damage if Frozen.

Tier 4:
  • Flurry - A burst of physical attacks that deals 40%|60%|80% weapon damage to all enemies and a 20%|40%|60% chance to cause Hypothermia.
  • Rend - grants a 20%|35%|50% chance for any successful physical attack to apply a stack of Bleeding to the target, causing 100% weapon damage over 5.0 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
  • Snowblind - Hide your next attack and gain an extra 10%|20%|30% bonus damage.
  • Ice Spike Armor - Magically retaliate 10%|20%|30% of weapon damage as Ice damage.
  • Critical Eye - Grants +10%|15%|20% chance to deal a critical hit and +10%|20%|30% critical hit power with physical attacks.

While this class sounds more PvP than pve oriented it sounds/looks badass! Keep it up!

Sounds quite 'cool' as a hybrid of Mage and justicar with some SW physical abilities thrown in by the looks. Bit concerned that a dozen of its abilities are just copied and pasted from the existing classes though.

I take it to try the new class, that if we have 5 toons we will have to delete a toon or make a new account.

Since we are all going to be back at level 1 with these toons, who is up for an old timers guild with each of us having our new toons? That way we can run level appropriate raids.

I think that makes more sense as we might them up instead of trying to run them in existing high level guilds. And if we limit it to the hard core oldtimers, we know we'll be able to slam through raids.
