Client Update 2.5.1 - Server Maintenance

There will be a server maintenance period on Tuesday, September 15th at 11am EDT / 3pm GMT. We anticipate a downtime of approximately 3 hours to deploy game update 2.5.1! This update will bring you Talk Like a Pirate Event and two more localized languages, Portuguese and Turkish! We thank you for your patience during this maintenance period.

Weekly Quests (Monster Hunter) are currently available now and will be available following the update.

The new update will come available on all app stores around the end of our maintenance period. Please make sure that you are downloading the 2.5.1 version of the app.

GENERAL:

• New Icon!
• New languages supported - Portuguese and Turkish!
• Reduction in cost for materials needed for high level enchantments!
• Reduction in cost for materials needed for transfer cost including Arcane Transfers!

TLAP EVENT:

• New exclusive items added to the event! Additional pirate themed gear! New Tier 19 items!
• Updated Darkthorn's attributes and stats to scale with the level 35 cap.
• Reduced the prices of some 2014 Talk Like a Pirate Event items.

BUG FIXES:

• A space has been added back to the Whisper Channel after the player's username.
• Justicar's Stagger will last the correct duration time of 2 seconds.
• Accuracy will now display the correct percentage (2.5%) on the recipe.
• Resilience will now display the correct percentage (2%) on the recipe.
• Players can now do this \m/ again!

Can I have a refund of all the gs I spent at the start of PvP season 3? I emailed you asking if costs would ever be reduced and you guys said that it would be almost a year before you consider it that was over 1200 gs wtf I could have used some of those for raiding!

Very very happy for cut enchants transfer costs but also such a nice surprise for needing less mats for high level enchants (even though I only need 2 ) but I'm sure everyone will appreciate it..even my alts!!! Great news,definitely a huge step forward,Gratz to the team!

This is one area where a roadmap of intentions would've helped players. I'd have held off on two level VIII enchants recently if we'd known this was coming. Venan was asked multiple times.

That said, reduced costs is what has been asked for, so for that I'm glad the powers that be listened.

Totally agree on the enchants. It would have been nice to know before boosting several enchants up to t8 a week or so before season 3. You can't tell us that you just suddenly came up with this after the new season started.

Whilst I can appreciate that players might have liked a 'heads up' from Venan earlier about the enchanting reductions I don't believe compensation of any kind is due here. Why should Venan refund people who choose to spend their own money on the game to achieve the end result faster? Spending GS is a decision that you make as a person. No one is forcing you to spend money on this game and there are many high might players who have achieved what they have without spending money on this game. Over the last month I have completed my first few level 9 enchants, without spending GS, and had I known about the enchanting reduction I might have held off. But it was my decision to upgrade the enchants and therefore I don't expect nor should I receive any form of compensation from Venan. What I have said might not be popular to some, however this is only my opinion.
