Suggestion rework prestige abilities

Postby Kenner » Sat Mar 25, 2017 8:09 am

Hello everyone I have some Ideas to tweak the prestige abilities to mainly make pvp more balanced in my opion.

1. Replace last stand with spell focus: this skill had a 0.25*base cast Time and a 5 sec cooldown and will give the user the following buff: All spells cast Will not be affected by the enemies status resist stat for 1.25 sec. It cannot be used in the first 2 sec of combat. This skill Will only be available for inquisitor and mages.

2. Make Mojo exclusively available for SW and FK. Also Change cooldown to 4.0 sec. Regardless of haste rating.

3. Make provoke exclusive for justi and FW. Also give this attack the cannot be Dodged or blocked property.

4. Give the gem boosts a little boost to gain +15% on the colour of choice.

5. Increase leech proc to 15% and make sure that it heals 2250 (3*750) in pvp as Total health in pvp is multiplied by 3.

Okay only spell focus then we need an OP skill aswell and you get to keep Mojo phase :p. But seriously something needs to change for all i care we remove the lot of them.

PvP tips from salad: Alright first start by closing your eyes and take a good nap before you get a match then smash buttons, with a hammer for best results. Also for best results be slightly asleep so hopefully you think it's just a bad dream.

Rework the "UCantKillMeBroLOL" button so that it works like the Mystery potion. You can't die whilst it's active, but at the end of the timer - *croak*

I think the Spell Focus one is wishful thinking, but I welcome any pressure to change these horrible abilities. They made PvP even more random, worse than it was before. My personal preference would be complete removal and replacement with abilities that are useful for both PvE and PvP.

If Mojo stays it has to change so it's a one-use ability as to use that 2-3 times a match is crazy against any class that needs to stack status. Last Stand would benefit from a much shorter duration as using it is just 'lol you beat me..but now I can just avoid that and turn the match around'. Both abilities are completely OP. Provoke is also not being used as intended and should not trigger backswing - it was introduced as a 'peeking' ability. You can get far more backswings in per match now which isn't balanced. The others need to be interesting so it is beneficial to use them (like Leech) or simply replaced with abilities that are useful in PvE.

+1! Kill all prestige abilities except the gem boosts.

Mojo is fine the way it is. Doesn't need to be changed.
