I heartily agree with Izy. Let guilds set a minimum participation rate ie 3475 to receive the full reward and anything below that gets a fraction of the reward. Or if possible, create a feature that allow guilds to end raid early. It can be called super cannon and using it take 20 or so energy and require participation from 10 guildies. What it does is knock out one phase of the raid but losing 1/3 of raid reward.

Or create a feature for a "sister guild where they can raid in each other guild without taking up a merc slot. Sister guild can only created once a week lasting for 4 days and you can't link with the same guild in a row.

The root of the problem is that raid are such a slug fast and require a lot of participants. Captain raid and up requires almost 30-35 people playing from start to end of the raid. Since a guild can only have 100 people, it is rare to get that many playing at a time. It forces most people to either burn or play multiple toons just to support a guild raid. It shouldn't have to be this way.

You are burning people out.

Drûìndår_HëllHåmmër wrote:+1 In the old days of mercing, you had to actually join the guild running the raid. If you turned out to be a bottom feeder, the gm had the option to kick you from the guild therefore removing you from the raid. The gm needs a way to manage that again.

Yeah, because that worked out so well.....

If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, search for ancient threads involving Mardoknol and the Sylver Hunters.

Maybe it's because I'm in high end raids, since Venan changed the payout of PM P2, I have seen very few problems.

The problem is not as widespread, but it exists still...Mostly my issue is the one person in particular that does it every single time.

Exactly. I personally rarely even pop in any global chats. 0.001% of my BoH life maybe?
Even when I pop by any global, it's just to run an ad then disappear.

I have to say that I think the simplest solutions are probably the best. At the least there should be a report button. That way the devs can easily look and see if there is anyone that has been repeatedly low hitting raids and take appropriate actions. As for booting in most cases one or two low hitters are annoying but don't hurt to bad in cv raids and lower raids. Perhaps an easier answer would be an option to open more emergency merc spots if you have over a certain amount of mercs that only made so much rpp. Though personally I think bad raiders should see some sort of punishment for bad raiding. Something visible enought them to discourage bad raiding practices, but in such a way to encourage good raiding practices.
