d5 = five-sided die roll (with numbers from 1 to 5)

So, d5+2 means a number from 1 to 5, plus 2, which equals a number from 3 to 7.

Do, Beekeo informed me that the raid rewards are based on a pool devided and not a /k basis. Here are the approximate numbers I have found for goblins and lockbolt.

Goblins 300 sqv 100h

Lockbolt 1600 sqv 400h

Pooled and /k mean the same thing...

Goblins has 93 waves. 93 waves = 13,675 RPP
Payout is 23 valor per 1000 RPP, also calculated as 13.675*23 = 315 sqv
Payout is 7 ht per 1000 RPP, also calculated as 13.675*7 = 96 ht

Likewise for Lockbolt...

Lockbolt has 297 waves. 297 waves = 44,275 RPP
Payout is 36 valor per 1000 RPP, also calculated as 44.275*36 = 1594 sqv
Payout is 9 ht per 1000 RPP, also calculated as 44.275*9 = 398 ht

Ok, doing it that way 105.680*28 came up 200 low for the kraken. *30 was actually closer to the 3198 sv that we found. We also found a total of aprox 1250 h. But thank you for explaining how you reach your conclusions. I understand it a little better now.

This has become a BoH Urban Legend.

Just to clarify, Pooled and "per 1000 RPP" are similar. Pooled is how it is actually done (Note 1). If you run 500 LEGs or 1000 HitMe, "per 1000 RPP" will almost always equal actual Pooled rewards.

If you have one less Raider, or one more, it changes Rewards. Raid Rewards are litterally impossible to predict. So "per 1000 RPP" is good enough.

Though Niko could give a better feel for this inherent instability by using "22-24" in the first Post instead of "23", or "9-11" instead of "10", to indicate a range of results instead of the actual Reward being based on RPP.

On a smartphone go to Forums >> Discussions. It is a "Sticky" Topic (icon has an "!") so it will always be at the top of the Discussion Forum.
