Speed Run 2

Postby Lord_Venan » Fri Jul 20, 2012 6:34 pm

Last weekend was all about quantity. This weekend, quality matters.

Starting at 9pm EDT Friday July 20th, and ending 9am EDT Monday July 23rd, we will holding our second speed run contest. Since all the guilds have progressed much further since our last one, we'll be focusing on all the 2 hour raids this time. The raids and prizes are as follows:

  • The Plaguerider - 750 Squire Valor, 20 Gold Shields
  • Attack at Dawn - 1000 Soldier Valor, 20 Gold Shields
  • Cursed Keep - 1500 Knight Valor, 20 Gold Shields
To keep things fair, guilds can only compete in the highest might raid they've completed from the above list. So if you've completed Cursed Keep already, that is the raid your guild will be considered for.

Good hunting everyone!

Question, are the rewards for winning linked to the player or the guild? Because Mercs could get multiple rewards...

The chance of it happening is quite small but not impossible unless those mercs willingly join lower level guild who they believe is currently leading their respected raid tiers. Last time it was linked to guilds.

We currently aren't able to track and reward people who were in the actual raid, so mercs who want to play will need to stick to a guild, or at the minimum be a member of the guild when we do the awards.

The awards will be done at 12pm server time on Monday, so if you want to use mercs and let them share in the spoils, make sure they are in your guild during that window.

Just for clarity, it is complete the high raid, is that 1 win, or the whole number of wins?

I dont get what you're talking about but the very first post mentioned 2 hr raids and who ever finishes it fastest in their respective raid tier wins.

Question: The times posted so far, does that include the 5 Minute Summoning Time or is it just the Actual Fighting time? We need to know so that we can know EXACTLY what time we need to beat. Would it be the Time given on the Raid Reports sent out, for the Raids we've already completed, that we should be looking at, so as to know if we are beating current best? Thank you!
