Server Maintenance - September 13, 2013

There will be a short server maintenance period on Friday, September 13th at 11 AM EDT/3 PM GMT. The maintenance is expected to last up to 30 minutes. Please plan your raids accordingly as raids will not be automatically completed and there will be no compensation for failed raids. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Level 30s will now have their own bracket when they queue in PVP. Levels 10-29 will continue to be in the same bracket.
  • Characters now have 15 seconds to act in PVP before they time out.
  • HP Scaling in PVP has been adjusted from 4x to 3x.
  • Implemented measures to prevent people from purposefully taking no actions in PVP. Players who continually auto attack or background their device will forfeit the match and their rewards.
  • Elixir of Bloodlust has been added to the temple. This elixir will increase the PVP tokens received by 20% while active.
  • Fixed a bug with the War Mage's 1H attack that was making it slower than intended.
  • Fixed a bug that would cause duplicate recipes to drop from dungeon bosses.

In regards to class balance, we're still evaluating the changes we want to make and will be rolling out an update in the upcoming weeks for some of these changes. Thanks for your continued patience!

Sorry to say, reduction of health from 4x to 3x doesn't sound like a good idea.
A few crits & it's game over for some + some classes are slower & need time to build up damage 'multipliers', they will be disadvantaged.

What is the justification for the health reduction? I don't think that anyone can argue the fact that luck already plays a large factor in each individual match. Shortening the match this much just gives less time for the better builds/higher skilled players to win out. At this point we might as well just start flipping coins to determine the winner

I agree with Dee and Sok. Reducing the HP will not allow DOT's to reach their full potentials. Good thing I'm a melee walker! But seriously, please reconsider :) Everything else looks like progress!

I'm pretty sure a lot of players responded in the negative when it was suggested the timer be reduced. Surely dropping it to 15 will penalise anyone whose connection falters or drops out mid-match?

HP 4x to 3x :-/ why the change , the problem is the way the dice rolls on SW and WM chance on riposte and ice shield.

And now with low HP that's like 8hits game over...& the 15 sec to make a move if not its a Forfeit that's not good for those who do lag I play from work and my connection not all that great here.

In a way it helps with the players who just auto hit and waste a good 2mins of our game play I've faced players who have 1200 losses and each match has been auto hits which is annoying , but think about the laggers . :-)
